St. James shall select the appropriate league and skill level for all groups based upon the coaches' decisions as to the team's overall ability and skill levels.  We further reserve the right to limit the size of any team to provide proper practice and game playing time for all participants.  Children will be accepted on a first come first served basis.  Players are expected to attend no less than 70% of the practices and 80% of the games during the season.  The PLAYER is responsible for notifying the coach when a conflict arises.

Players Agreement:  As a member of the St. James Lacrosse Program, every player is expected to exhibit good sportsmanship at all times.  The player will make every effort to attend all games scheduled.  It is the player's responsibility to notify the coach if he/she cannot attend a game.  Failure to abide by these guidelines may result in the player's removal from the program and forfeiture of registration fees.

Parent's Agreement:  Lacrosse is an inherently dangerous sport.  St. James Lacrosse does not provide insurance.  It is my responsibility to ensure that my child is properly insured in the event of an injury.  I will not hold St. James Academy Episcopal Church, St. James Lacrosse Program, or its teams, coaches, or league in which it participates, responsible for any injuries while participating in the program.  I am responsible for any damages occasioned by my child or children to the property and/or premises of St. James Academy, St. James Episcopal Church, or the St. James Lacrosse Program.  If my child rents equipment from the program, I am responsible for any equipment lost, stolen or damaged through misuse, and will not hold St. James Lacrosse responsible for injuries suffered during its use.  I will assist my child in fulfilling the players' responsibility to the team.

I agree that as a parent, I will exhibit good sportsmanship toward all the players, coaches, referees, opposing teams, and other parents, at all times while on the sidelines, and on the premises of any lacrosse event.

I have read the PLAYER's and PARENT Agreement and will see that my child adheres to the guidelines.
